A Qualified Man: Cultivating the Quality of a Godly Leader
A qualified man is hard to find.
We live in an age of weakened churches, fractured families, and compromised pulpits. Much of our present cultural crisis can be traced to the failure of men—and pastors in particular—to meet the biblical standard of godly leadership.
The solution is not personality, platform, or pragmatism. The solution is Scripture.
In Titus 1:5–9, God clearly outlines what a qualified man must be and what he must do. This passage provides both the standard and the pathway for cultivating the character required of faithful shepherds.
While especially important for pastors and those who aspire to the office of elder, this work serves every Christian man. For the qualifications given to elders describe the mature Christian man every believer ought to become.
If the church is to be strengthened, homes restored, and pulpits made faithful again, it must recover qualified men.
